Yes... Na Nago returns... So what was Na Nago again?
Back in the day, Na Nago Magazine was an online magazine that featured the best in obscure photographers.
What’s the difference between the people I featured and the ones featured in the print editions found on any news stand? Well for starters, the people featured in photography magazines are usually all who make a pretty GOOD living off of their work. They photograph for Vogue, they make the ads for a ton of commercial products, etc.
That’s all well and good, but for aspiring artists, that can be a little overwhelming. That’s where Na Nago came in. It gave the artist still climbing the ladder a chance to shine. And in many respects, their art was just as good - if not better - than the stuff in the magazines.
If Na Nago was so good, why did you stop?
Because I got overwhelmed. Back in the day, I made Na Nago from scratch. I did all the HTML coding, the interviewing and my own photography. Plus, I had a day job to go to. That was a lot of work for one person and no budget.
Today, I’ve stream-lined my process. No longer do I have to worry about the coding (that was 90% of the work). This time around will - God willing - be better.
